The Tour of Flanders is one of cycling's most iconic races and a place I had wanted to experience for a long time. As both a photographer and an avid cyclist, standing alongside the course felt like a small step toward a larger dream: one day covering professional cycling races on assignment.
For this project, I set myself the challenge of shooting primarily on film, slowing down my process and focusing on the atmosphere surrounding the race. Alongside the photographs, I also created a short video documenting the experience, bringing together both the images and the story of my time in Flanders.
