On assignment for Lavender Run Club I documented the club's cheering zone during the 2026 Freiburg Marathon.
Despite the persistent rain, the atmosphere remained upbeat throughout the day. With live music, drinks, and constant encouragement for the runners passing by, the cheering zone became a vibrant meeting point for both participants and supporters. My focus was on capturing the energy, community spirit, and countless small moments that made the day memorable, proving that a little rain is no obstacle to a great marathon experience.
