For SC Freiburg’s Europa League match in Bologna, I set out on a personal trip as a long-time supporter of the club. European away games have always been something I wanted to experience more deeply, combining football, travel, and photography.
Bologna, with its rich history and beautiful architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for this journey. Equipped with a small point-and-shoot camera, I documented the atmosphere around match day, and the nostalgic feeling of a historic Italian city.
